Yes we support AKC by registering all of our litters.
Yes all of our breeding dogs are OFA or Pen Hip tested, OFA Cardiac, OFA Thyroid and DNA tested for genetic disease
Yes all puppies are sold with a written 2 year/lifetime genetic guarantee.
Yes our Short Coated Weimaraner and GSp pups are docked and dews removed. Our longhair puppies are not per the breed standard (FCI & UKC)
We breed to standard and strive to better the breed with each breeding. We place each puppy with care based on your answers to our application questions and our phone interviews. We do not allow you to pick based on birth order or photos. We have spent 8+ weeks caring for, learning and studying each puppies personality and are best qualified to place puppies in the right homes. Since the pandemic and the events around the US other breeders have experienced - we rarely allow visits to pups prior to week 8. We do provide videos, photos and references if necessary - we have been breeding gun dogs since 2003 and are happy to provide any information you need. We feel we have bred and insured we have healthy prodigy and that the decision you need to make is "are we the breeder for you?" We are also happy to refer you to another breeder if we can't meet your needs.
Our puppies are handled and exposed to stimuli from day one. Our mothers are fed optimal diets to insure the health of mother and puppies. Our dogs are kept current on vaccines and worming . Puppies are wormed at 2-4-6-8 Weeks they are vaccinated at 6 weeks with Neopar (Parvo Only) and 8 Weeks with Duramune Ultra . Puppies are socialized and provided with daily enrichment. They have 2-3 car rides prior to going home and we start potty training at 6 weeks of age. We potty train year round outside and take pups outside frequently. Pups are played with and exposed to children age 1-16 and adults.
